Ruling on the motion filed by the Prosecutor's Office in the case of Simbad Bajraktarević (S1 3 K 053888 26 Kpp), on 30 January 2026 the Court issued a Decision granting the motion, and remanded the suspect Simbad Bajraktarević in custody, which, according to the Decision, may last for a maximum of one month, running from the date of the suspect's arrest, i.e. until 28 February 2026 or until a new decision of the Court, all due to the existence of the specific grounds of custody set forth in Article 132(1)c) CPC BiH.

The suspect was remanded in custody due to the existence of grounded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Obstruction of Justice under Article 241(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), in such a way that, in the period from 1 January 2026 to 15 January 2026, via the social network "META-Facebook", by publishing certain photos with accompanying text, he intimidated a prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and a police officer of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, all with the intention of preventing or obstructing them from performing their official duties in another case pending against the suspect before the Court of BiH, concerning the criminal offense of terrorism.
